....that I am so glad not to be enduring another tax season as a mommy? I had a moment tonight that I felt overwhelmed by all that is on my plate this week. Then, it finally hit me that it is March and I am not working 7 days a week, buried in files, and most importantly away from my son and my family 80 hours a week. So, needless to say, I put my week back into perspective.
I love accounting and taxes (yes, I know I'm weird), but I am so thrilled that God has blessed me with a second career that affords me more time at home. If you would have told me this time last year that I would be teaching 2nd grade, I would have never believed it. It amazing to know that God has a path for us to take and has our best interests in mind, if we only listen. I am glad I listened last summer and took a big leap of faith!

Hey Jen! I love your blog!! I would like to do this but it looks too hard! I am so happy you found a "family friendly" career. This summer will be so nice for you guys. The first year of teaching is tuff but every after that gets easier. I love you girl!
I am so very proud of you and your decisions. I am also glad not to be there this year also. It was not the same being there without you. You are a terrific Mother, Daughter, Sister and friend! I love you dearly. Looking forward to spending time with my girls and boys this summer!
Love you,
Mom
