Lately.....

It has been a busy and eventful last two weeks. Spring Break was great! I couldn't have asked for a better week. Drew & I shopped, met Daddy for lunch, spent time with Ya-ya, Leslie, and the boys, had dinner with Hannah and Addie, went to Sea World, and celebrated Mom's birthday. Pewwww!! Did I forget anything? Oh yes, I prepared about 10-12 different tax returns during the week. It was busy, but fun. It was a great preview to the upcoming summer break. I had such a good time with Drew. It was so much fun getting up every morning with him. I am going to be in heaven during the summer months. About 6 more weeks left. I can't believe how this school year flew by. I guess time flies when you are having fun.

Leslie & I prepared our traditional birthday dinner for Mom last Saturday evening. Well, I guess it took us almost a 1/2 day to prepare the entire meal. We had a Mexican theme. Anyone who knows me, knows Mexican is my weakness so I managed to make this the theme. I picked a menu from Tyler's Ultimate on the Food Network. He makes everything look so easy. I guess it would have been easy for us if we had someone to cut up everything and pull out an already prepared dish of enchiladas out of the oven. It was worth it though. Mom loved it and that is what counts. Although, Les & I are thinking that she will probably vote to have pizza next year. She & Dad volunteered to take Raleigh & Drew off for the day. (Les & I kept Hudson.) Needless to say, the boys wore them out. They enjoyed the park, lunch at McDonald's, and the little playground Dad has made the boys. You can see from the picture of Dad & Drew's nap just how exhausted they were.

We received good news from Leslie's bone marrow biopsy this afternoon. Everything tested negative!! I really had a peace about it, but there is always the fear. There was much relief today. Everyone was exhausted and relieved at dinner tonight. Thanks to everyone for all of the prayers.
