Finally, after much anticipation, Hudson Grey Lutz has arrived. He arrived January 1st at 12:47pm. He was 9 lbs 1 oz and 22 inches long. He was the same length as Drew, but Drew & Raleigh had him beat in the weight department by 4 ounces. :-) Leslie had a great delivery. She was induced about 9 am. She went from 4 cm to 10 cm in about 45 minutes. And......only pushed 3 times. So all in all she was only in labor about 4 hours. I guess it is true about it usually being easier with the 2nd child. Leslie received her epidural a little after 11 and was bummed to know that she could have probably made it without it. I told her she would have not have received any medals. Ride that Cadillac, Les!!
Leslie & Hudson are doing great and came home today after only 24 hours. I can't believe they only make you stay 1 day now. Mom & I are itching to get up to Gainesville again and see them. Mom was planning on staying awhile, but she came down sick with a cold and had to go to the doctor today. She is on antibiotics and the doctor said to stay away for a few days. Also, both Drew and Brad have come down with "pink eye" and I am a little nervous about giving it to them. We spent most of the day at doctors appointments. When it rains it pours, I guess!
