DMB - Tampa

Just got home from seeing Dave Matthews Band in Tampa. I am always wide awake when we get home. Robbie and Danielle joined us and we had a really good time. We were a little late leaving than planned, but still decided to eat dinner before the show and skip opening act. We barely made it. It started pouring rain as soon as we got to the Amphitheatre. We were soaked by the time we got to our seats. I dropped by cell in the water (hope it dries out) and lost my drivers license somewhere in between the parking lot and the entrance. Oh well, one more thing to do tomorrow. The concert was impeccable! We were in the sixth row....poor Robbie and Danielle were in the second to last row before lawn seats. :-( Well, I know most of you who read our blog aren't DMB fans, but there are a few. For those few, the set list was incredible. We decided on the way home that we didn't think it could have been any better. The crowds energy was great and the band was on. They rarely do covers and have been doing Sledgehammer (Peter Gabriel) this tour. It was great! It seemed the entire crowd was singing. The saxophonist was in an ATV accident last weekend and Jeff from Bella Fleck and the Flecktones is sitting in for him the rest of the tour. He is really talented and I'd love to go see them sometime.

Here are a few of our pictures from our phone. Off to sleep now and West Palm Beach tomorrow afternoon for one more show Friday night.

GIRL! I cannot even believe those seats! I guess you'll be headed to the DMV for your new license after seeing the DMB! :)

what fun you two have... well, I could barely enjoy myself today for thinking of you and Brad the whole movie, but on your next date night you need to head to MOSI and watch Grand Canyon. DMB did the music and there are some great shots of Vegas and the River... you will even duck a few times from the water coming at you. See it if you can.
