Hello Newman..........

Last night Brad, myself, Brent, and Amy went to see Jerry Seinfeld do stand up at the Bob Carr. I decided to surprise Brad and buy him the tickets for Father's Day. He is a HUGE Seinfeld fan as anyone could tell by looking at our 50+ shows on our DVR list. It was so much fun. We went to Maggiano's (an Italian restaurant we ate at in Vegas) at Pointe Orlando. Amy & Brent said it reminded them of something off the Soprano's. You can either order a la carte or family style. Brad and I have never done the family style since it is always just the 2 of us so we decided that would be fun. We ate, ate, ate, and then ate some more. 5 courses. For the table you chose 2 appetizers, 2 salads, 2 pastas, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts. Of course, if you decide you want more of a specific item...they keep it coming. The chopped salad, spinach salad, lasagna, fettuccine, Marsala, salmon, zucchini, calamari, cheesecake, creme brulee were all so good. I certainly could have stood another taste of the creme brulee to finish my misery, but we were running short on time. Anyway a bite of everything was just the ticket, but we were pretty miserable afterwards. Good thing we don't do that often. Jerry was hilarious. Sometimes you don't know what to expect with a stand up act, but I was so impressed because it was so good and CLEAN. I was laughing so hard I was crying. I kept looking over at Brad and he wasn't laughing as much. I kept thinking what is going on....he loves Jerry. Anyway, he kept getting anxious in his seat. I finally leaned over and asked him what was wrong. Yes..........the virus bug bit him. He was sick. He told me to stay and headed for the bathroom. I was so bummed he had to miss some of it. But, he got a second wind and stood in the back. At the end (after the standing O), Jerry came back out and answered questions. Someone asked him to say, "Hello Newman." Brad loves that. I was so glad Brad was in the back and got to hear it in person.

Anyway, both of my babies are in bed right now. Brad was up all night sick. Drew is much better and is working on getting his appetite back. And for me....I am signing off to go clean my mess of a house while I have a few minutes of quite! :-)
