Catching Up

I know I haven't posted anything in a while. Leslie keeps reminded me to update my blog, so here I go.

The last couple of weeks seem like a blur to me. I have been so busy with work, both teaching and accounting. I also have had intense "evening sickness" the last month or so. Nausea, Nausea, Nausea. I'm not complaining, but I am just glad to know that the nausea is a sign that the baby is healthy and growing. Thankfully, I wrapping up the 1st trimester in the next week. The last couple of days have been much better I must say. Poor Brad and Drew. Brad has been so great. Whatever is on the table for supper he eats and never complains. He is so good like that. But, girls, you know as much as our husbands help us out when we are sick the house just doesn't look the same. :-) So bottom line.....I'm looking forward to getting my house whipped back into shape. I think I'll skip the fall decorations this year and just wait for Christmas.

We went to the doctor Thursday and met Dr. Helms. He was nice. The baby looked great. It was a quick visit. Hopefully when I go next month we will be able to see what gender the baby is. We shall see.

I'm posting some pictures of our dog's, Vegas, new home during the day. Vegas, we think, had a little contact with lightning or was just scared by it. He freaks when it rains or even if he smells it. He has gone through our front door and back door (both glass), an interior french door to the sun porch, scratched up other doors, and broke a mirror. Yes, a lot of money to replace all of Vegas' stunts. Brad decided to build a place for him while we are gone during the day so he won't destroy anything else. So far............so good!!!! I don't think he is getting out of this. Drew enjoyed helping Daddy build it last weekend. As you see in one of the picture, he has a Santa hat on. Yes, that is his new favorite thing???? Maybe he should be Santa for Halloween.

Also, I'm posting some pictures Brad took today. Friday is Daddy and Drew day. They go to the park, McDonald's, Wal-mart, Tractor Supply, or wherever their adventures may take them. Today, he took Drew to see the ducks. He has been seeing them while watching Curious George. He loved them. Brad had a hard time getting him to get in his car seat.
(I have been thinking of this song lately. I think from the early 90's!! I used to LOVE it and it's still good. )

I'm so glad you finally blogged!! Love that Drew...he's so handsome. I thought about you guys last night as Jeff and I (and our two munchkin's) did our evening walk around our property. Jeff's dad was out on the tractor and the kids just couldn't contain their excitement. Abbie is 6 and still wants to ride on her papa's lap. She loves to drive...I've been thinking of you during your pregnancy and I will be praying for your nausea!!! When are you going to post pictures of yourself and the new attachment?
