What's going on?

Leslie & I talk to each other a lot of mornings on the way to school. She told me the other morning that I needed to update my blog. Yes, I know, but there hasn't been much blog worthy stuff going on lately. So here is what has been going on the last couple of weeks....

I did go to the doctor Thursday. I saw Dr. Helms today. He was very nice. This was just the 2nd time I saw him. It seems I get Dr. Moffett most of the time which is fine too. :-) I am just a bit over 27 weeks and I measured 28 weeks, which is good. Dr. Helms said I had a long torso so he was a little bit "concerned" that the baby was bigger than my stomach looked since there is more room for the baby to hide. I told him I probably would agree because Dr Wood & Moffett swore Drew would be about 8 pounds and of course he turned out being 9 and a 1/2. He said he thinks he has learned his lesson about the size of a baby with long torso girls. I guess that is why they are talking of inducing me at 38 weeks. Anyway, Cameron looked great. He was all comfy inside my belly. He was head up with his toes curled up on my bladder. That is why the bathroom has been my best friend more than usual lately!! Dr. Helms said I needed to talk to him and get him to flip head down. :-) We've got plenty of time for that though. Drew was head up right until a few weeks before. I pleased the doctors and put on a few pounds for them this month. Still not where I should be, but they said it was better. Now to the doctor every 2 weeks. My how time is flying by with this 2nd one!

We took Drew with us to a Gator basketball game about 2 weeks ago. He really was into it. Everytime the crowd cheered he clapped. We just about got him saying "Go Gators" during the song. (You know Go gators, go gators....get up and go.) He kept a close eye on Albert the whole time. We thought we would wait until the end of the game to get his picture taken with him, but Albert disappeared as soon as the buzzer rang. Maybe next time. Here are a few pictures of him at the game.

We are trying to get a few things around the house done before Cameron gets here. We are semi-remodeling our room. (new furniture, paint, window treatments, etc.) I was supposed to paint today, but we thought it was going to be too cold to open up the windows for ventilation. It turned out to be a beautiful day. So instead we were a bit lazy this morning. All of us slept until about 9. We went to the grocery store and then out to lunch. I was craving a buffalo chicken salad. That was much more fun anyway! Brad has a way of helping me forget about doing house chores. ha! But, next weekend it will be time to paint, so get your paint brush ready baby!

Well, better get busy with some chores while my guys are taking a nap.

Hey girl! It has been a while, but I'm one to talk! You have such a laid back attitude about this pregnancy. What a blessing! I was a worry wart, despite all my efforts not to be with both of mine! I cannot believe Drew sleeps in like that!! Oh, how I long for those days of sleep :) Take care Jenn!

You are so darn pretty...it was great seeing everyone last night at the superbowl party...Cameron will be here so soon. It says a lot for the Lord to give you such a group of men to care for in this life, He knows you can do it with such grace.
