Happy Annivesary, Brad! I absolutely can not believe it has been 10 years since we said "I do." I guess time really does fly when you are having so much fun. We have so much in common and enjoy basically the same things in life. Brad is such a great guy and an even better husband. I never go without anything. He is truely my best friend.
For those of you who don't know our story here goes......We have known each other since preschool. We grew up together and were in a lot of classes together throughout our 12 years in school. He was my "boyfriend" in 5th grade until I broke his heart over the summer. (Yes, I broke his heart. :-( ). I can still remember where I was sitting talking to him on the phone. I think we called it "going out" back then. My Dad always wanted to know where we were going. No where...he said. Later in our middle school/high school years, we always hung out in the same circle, but dated other people. Looking back know, it seems as if I always knew we would be together some day. He occupied a big part of my heart.
During my college days, I was walking one evening out in Mom & Dad's neighborhood. I remember Brad passing me and thinking that I hadn't seen him since the summer we graduated. I'm sure I had a smile on my face because I was so glad to see him. He tells me that at the moment (when he passed me) he knew he was going to marry me. Back then, Brad visited Wes once a week before basketball to shoot the bull and he & Hannah spoke about me. Thank you to Hannah & Wes it all fell together! Hannah & I went off on a girls road trip to Georgia & South Carolina. When we came back we made dinner for the boys and the rest is history. Brad couldn't get rid of me now if he tried.
Thanks, pup, for 10 great years! I hope that we are blessed with many, many, many more.
I love you!!
PS --- SHHHH..... Brad & I found a great Italian restaurant in Las Vegas (Maggiano's). The spinach salad and lasagna were to die for. We kept saying how much we were going to be craving it until next time we were out there. I went online and found that they have one in Orlando. I didn't tell Brad so I am hoping I am able to sneak him over there tomorrow night. :-)

Jennifer, I was just speaking of what a great example of a marriage you two are to all of us. The comment mostly spoke was "Yep, they are best friends." "They so understand how it is done." I love reading your blog and treasure our history.
Yall are so good for each other you even dress alike without meaning to (ha HA)
Happy anniversary to you both
I can't believe it has been 10 years!
I never will forget that day it was such a beautiful wedding and you were such an awesome bride.
Also can't forget pulling into the driveway that night and seeing your bedroom light on. At that point all I could do was put my head on the steering wheel and sob! It just hit me that you would never come home to that room again as my little Jen!
But I am so happy for you and Brad we love him so much also.
Happy Anniversary to you both.
Love you with all my heart!
Mom
That is such a sweet story. I have never heard it. Thanks for sharing. Your family is blessed bunch of people!! Love you girl
I can hardly believe that it has been ten years. Your wedding was so beautiful and I was so blessed to be apart of it. I remember riding in the limo to the church and all of us girls got out and you and your dad stayed in there and just had some speical time together. That was so precious to me.
Yes, Wes and I are happy to take credit for getting the two of you together!(-: I remember talking to Brad at "the love shack" and saying that the two of you should get together! I loved that road trip you and I took.-"what a wonderful world" still plays in my mind and I always think of you when I hear it! The one thing that I remember from that trip was that you REALLY wanted to get home and see Brad and I think just get the ball rolling on your relationship! I remember cooking for them in your Mom's kitchen, right? Those were the days.
I love you three so much and I am blessed by every day that we have known each other. You are a remarkable woman and Brad is such an awesome guy. Together you all make such a wonderful team! Drew is very lucky to have parents who love each other so much.
