from Las Vegas. The first pic was at the airport in Orlando before we left. The second is of Brad & I "people watching" on the strip. We had a few minutes to spare before the show we were going to so we decided to go to the front of the hotel and grab a seat and just take in the sights. Definetly some real entertainment.
The mallard ducks were so funny. They followed us the entire trip down the Colorado river. Just when we thought we got rid of them, they would go flying in and slide on the water. They weren't shy at all. They climbed up on my kayak looking for food. They definetly have been spoiled by people on a daily basis. I became one of them and fed them some crackers. They would eat right out of your hand. On one of our excursions in the canyons, we came back to find one of them trying to get in our lunchbags. :-)
The last picture was a view from one side of our room. It was a much more spectacular view at night with all the lights on. But, you get the idea and can tell there are lots of cranes, etc. The Las Vegas skyline is continously growing. They are builidng "City Center" just a few resorts down from where we stay. It is going to be something else. It is a city within a city concept. I believe there are going to be 4 towers in all. One is a hotel/casino, one a Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The others are condos, etc. They are supposed to have whatever you could possibly need on that property. It is supposed to be completed Nov of 2009.
