Last Saturday, we took Drew to Blizzard Beach for the 2nd time in a week. The first time, we were rained out so we decided to go outlet shopping instead. This time was better. It was overcast, but the rain held out for Drew to enjoy about 2 hours at the park. I think he really enjoyed Blizzard Beach over Typhoon Lagoon (although both are fantastic). In Blizzard's kids section they have lots of kiddie slides. I thought they might still be a little big for him, but I should have known better. He darted right up the stairs just like a 3 year old. Towards the end he was climbing the stairs, choosing what slide he wanted to go down, clapping when he reached the bottom, and running back to the stairs. I was standing at the top of the slides and Brad was at the bottom. Then, I finally realized it was OK to stand back and give him a little freedom. I tend to hover over Drew sometimes instead of letting him just to explore. I guess that is just the Mom in me who wants to protect him and make sure he doesn't get hurt. He is getting so big!!

Looks like fun. I bet Raleigh would enjoy that. We need to take them together while it is still hot outside! (Maybe after we get paid :) )
Oh momma, he is getting so big! Although you want them to stay little it is fun when you see them stepping out on their own and being brave!!
Your Drew really is like a 3 year old. Maybe this 2nd one will be smaller and grow slower hee hee :)
