We just got back from a great trip to North Carolina. Brad's grandparents live just west of Franklin during the summer months. We try to visit them each summer. Especially with Drew. They miss him very much. He says their names now which is a big hit. They were so glad to see him as was he. It took him a little while to warm up, but he was just playing shy.

Papa has about 8 or so goats that help keep the grass down on the mountain. Drew loved them! We had to visit them frequently. He was supposed to feed the goats bread, but he tried to eat it instead.

He was such a trooper on our many adventures. We shopped, went sightseeing, had a picnic, hiked to a waterfall, shopped some more, visited, and played at the park. It was a fast trip, but lots of fun. Mom & Dad went with us. This was their first trip up there with us. I think they enjoyed it. Drew loved having them there and so did we!

I love the smilebox! what a great idea. It is so hard to just pick 5 pics. Wish I had been there with you. Looked like fun. Raleigh enjoyed the pictures too. He got excited and named everyone in each one! See you this weekend.
Love you

Seeing those pictures took me back to when we all went when Addie was less than a year old. What a fun trip we had. Seeing the picnic made me think about how carsick I got in those mountians, don't think I have ever been that sick. Glad you remembered to change Drew's diaper while you all were out and about, because you know I was the totally crappy Mom when we did that, and did not remember(-:
Those water falls are beautiful, it makes me want to go back up that way again!

Loved the pics...great to hear your mom and dad got to go. Drew will have even more fun once he has a sibling friend to run down the hill with. I have heard those stories of Brent and Brad and the creek.
