Waiting for sweet Cameron and having fun!

Lots of cramping and a few contractions here and there, but no baby yet! I had an appointment yesterday morning and saw Dr. Helms. I was still 2 cm and he wanted me to try to get to 3 cm before the inducement to lower the risk of a c-section. He suggested that we wait until Monday for the inducement or scheduling of it. That sounded good to me. Of course, he did the "rough" exam yesterday and pushed and pushed on my stomach yesterday to get Cameron further down. I know a lot of you girls know about that one. I thought I was going to vomit! As he was doing it, he said he was trying to get him here today. I thought he was coming yesterday as badly as it hurt. :-) Anyway, I go back Monday to see Dr. Moffett. I imagine if they aren't full, he'll send me over.....if not Dr. Helms said they would schedule it Monday for "the first of the week."

In the meantime, we are having a great week. I have the boys' room all ready. I have pictures, but everything is packed in the car. I will post later. I have had a good time spending time with Mom and celebrating her birthday. Also, Drew & I have been able to see my grandma just about everyday. Brad, Drew, & I are going over to Typhoon Lagoon tomorrow for a little R & R. I can't wait for that!

On another note, it is funny because it seems as if Drew really knows something is about to change. He will not let me out of his site! He usually just goes with whomever, whereever, whenever, but not this week. He has cried a few times even when Brad has him. Yesterday, in a store, he wanted to go with Ya-ya at first, but then I heard him crying and he wanted it my cart. So not like him. He will choose Ya-ya over Momma anyday! Then he started crying because Ya-ya went on another aisle. It was like he wanted us all together so that is what we did. He just seems so sensitive and cries very easily this week. I guess this is just a natural reaction. It seems so funny that a 2 year old can sense these things, but they do.

Sure Drew knows there is a change in the air, something is going to happen. He does not know what, but he feels the excitement, the anxiety.
Hope your Mom had a terrific birthday, Love and prayers, Robin/Halo.

Can't wait for sweet Cameron's arrival! I know you were bummed that it wasn't yesterday, that would have been great to have him on your Mom's birthday. But, I think this one wants a day all to himself and make a GRAND entrance! I can't wait!

awww how sweet of Drew...he wants to soak up as much of mommy as possible!

ps. I have caught up with Jill Harper Banks on Facebook and she is wanting to put together a little c/o '94 get together this summer since she didn't make it to the 10-year reunion (and this year makes 15 YEARS...can you believe it??). She is looking at July 11th and is trying to see who all might be interested. Let me know about you and Brad!

I hope you enjoy your last weekend as a family of three. I know Drew is going to make a wonderful big brother!

It's weird that you say that about Drew...Will has been doing almost the exact thing. It's like he clings to me now more than ever, and I have 11 weeks to go! But I have truly been able to tell a difference in Will lately.

Are you really going to Typhoon Lagoon? You are one brave Momma! I mean you just had your "vigorous exam"! That's what Dr. Moffett called it when he did that to me. Can't wait to see some pictures of their room...and yours!
