Our busy weekend

My boys are better! Brad woke up Saturday morning and said he felt fine again. Drew hasn't had diarrhea since Friday. Good thing is that it was a 24 hour bug. Another good thing, is that I haven't had it. Even after cleaning up every one's mess, God seems to cover us Moms sometimes. He is good like that. :-) Bryan woke up in the middle of the night with it and has been sick all day. Bad thing is that they are at Mom & Dad's house. He was too sick to go home today so they are spending the night. Leslie has to scrub the house and try to rid the house of the bug before Dad gets home tomorrow. He definitely doesn't need this with his chest incision. By the way, he is doing great. Just really sore. They are sending him home with his chest drainage tubes. Someone will come clean and empty those until there is no more drainage. Hopefully just a few more days. He is ready for his own bed.

Yesterday, we went to Orlando. Brad dropped me off at the hospital for a while. In the meantime, he & Drew went to Babies R Us and Old Navy down the road. (They just wanted to stay clear just in case.) Then we had a mission to finish up our Christmas shopping. We went to Mall at Millenia to look at a few stores, but before shopping we had a nice lunch at Cheesecake Factory. We ate outside. It was a gorgeous day for eating outside. It almost felt like we were in California. After that we went to Target then to Sea World. We have the annual passes and wanted to take Drew to see The Polar Express ride/exhibit there. It was about 6:30 when we got there. The park was clearing out somewhat so it was perfect. They showed a film that had the highlights of the movie. He LOVES the movie so he was excited when he saw it on the big screen. They had everything inside decorated for Christmas and like the Polar Express. They even had a Santa Clause that looked like the one in the movie. We went up to see him. Drew was fine. I forgot my camera so I was hoping the picture would be good, but the crazy camera guy took the picture and I was completely turned and blocking the way. It must have been a long day for him. We then saw a Polar Bear. He was putting on a bit of a show. Drew was so excited over him and doing this crazy belly laugh. Before Polar Express, we hit up the Penguin Habitat. It was empty so we ended up going through a few times. He likes the escalator part of it and said "more" along with his sign language every time we got to the end. Aren't kids so much fun?

THEN.......to top it all off we went to the outlets near Sea World. Brad had something to exchange. I thought he was just going to run in, but he said no come on. At that point Drew got his second wind after a "Hap" (aka Happy Meal). So we trekked through the outlet mall to a few stores. Pewwww it was a long day. Drew was so tired and Mommy was exhausted. When we got to the car Drew kept saying, "Momma, hand please"...so I knew he was tired. I held his hand and he was out. I fell asleep shortly after. I woke up in Wildwood to a puddle of drool. :-)

Well, that Christmas shopping we were supposed to finish Saturday didn't happened so we went to Ocala this afternoon. I'm glad to say it is mostly finish now. Brad has to pick up 2 presents tomorrow, but at least we know what they are. I will never wait to the last minute again. Did I just say never?

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I am looking forward to 2 weeks off!!
