Prayer

I know most of you read my sister's blog, but I just wanted to remind everyone to say a little prayer for my Dad on Wednesday. He will be having surgery at ORMC in Orlando at 7am. In case you don't read my sister's blog, most of you probably remember he had open heart surgery last March. Well, some of the wires that hold his sternum together have come undone. This was discovered late this summer after complaining of extreme pain still. The doctors were trying to hold out to see if mother nature would do its job and it would grow back together on its own, but it hasn't. In fact, today when he went for his pre-op today they discovered that more wires have come undone. They have him scheduled for "open-heart" surgery and will have to resaw the sternum and reset everything with a metal plate.

Please pray that God will guide the surgeon's hand and everything will be fixed. Pray for a speedy recovery with minimal pain. He has a long road ahead of him with 3 months off of work. Also, pray for peace. I know that I would be extremely anxious if I knew I had to go through that surgery again. (And the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.)

Thanks guys!

I have it on my calendar! I will be thinking of you all on Wednesday. We will be down that way on Wednesday, so maybe we can connect after my appointments.
Love you and your family so much. Your Dad is very dear to me and I want nothing more than for him to be healed to the fullest. Strange that the wires came undone. At least they can fix it!!
It all will be fine. Love you.

My family and I will be praying for Mr. Dennis. We are believing for the peace that passes understanding to guard his heart :) and his mind in Christ Jesus. Most everytime I think of him I remember being in your living room as a young girl and him sharing some of his testimony. Rock and roll music stands out to me :) I also remember you playing the piano in that front room. Oh, I was wishing I could play :) Take care girlie!
